Mina Brees Death | Drew Brees Mother – The Aug. 7 death of Austin lawyer Mina Brees has been ruled a suicide, according to the coroner in Grand County, Colo.

“Autopsy and investigation found her death was attributed to ingestion of a large quantity of prescription medications,” coroner Brenda Bock wrote in a statement released Monday. Brees died at the home of a friend in Granby, Colo.

Brees, 59, was a former president of the Austin Bar Association, the Travis County Bar Association and the Travis County Women Lawyers’ Foundation.
